King’s Chapel Musical Celebration
Parish House, 64 Beacon Street
Join us for a Progressive Piano Party this Saturday, February 9, at our Parish House, 64 Beacon Street, beginning at 5:30 pm.
This event is the first in a series of celebratory programs for our 2 “new” pianos, the Steinway in the little chapel donated by the Perkins family, and the Mason & Hamlin in the parlor, given to us by Pamela Gore, longtime anchor of the alto section of the King’s Chapel choir under the directorship of Daniel Pinkham.
Featured performers are: our Morning Light pianist Skip Lewan, followed by a program of bonbons from opera and musical theatre performed by the Vocal Artists of Amethyst Chamber Ensemble: Mary Sullivan, Joëlle Morris, Andy Troska, and John David Adams. Heinrich Christensen will do his utmost to keep up with them from the piano bench.
Food and libations will be provided by Bistro 64 in collaboration with the audience. So if you are able to join us, please RSVP to Gregg Sorensen at email@example.com and he will help you sort out what might be the perfect drink, appetizer, or dessert for you to bring. We hope to see you all for a very festive evening!
